1) A desktop or laptop PC with Linux Ubuntu 19.10 / 18.04 installed

STEP 1: Open The Ubuntu Terminal And Install Wireshark.
1) Login using your linux ubuntu credentials and click on the SHOW APPLICATIONS button. Enter the word “TERMINAL” on the search box and open the TERMINAL application.
Alternatively, press “CNTRL + ALT + T” keyboard shortcut to open the TERMINAL application.
2) Next, run the following command to install system updates for UBUNTU. Once the update process is complete please restart your UBUNTU:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
3) Next, run the following command to instal the WIRESHARK package on your UBUNTU pc:
sudo apt-get install wireshark
4) During the installation process the WIRESHARK installer will ask if no superusers should be able to capture packets. Use the tab button to select YES and press ENTER
5) Now, you simply have to wait for the WIRESHARK installation package to complete. Once complete you will learn how to open WIRESHARK and how to capture network packets.
