How to Turn On A Windows Or Linux Computer USING Wake-On-LAN (WOL)
Wake On LAN (WOL) is a very handy feature as this allows you to remotely administer any computer with WOL support, as long as if that computer has network access and connected to a power source. To power on a device, WOL uses a specific network packet containing the MAC address of the destination network computer. If the magic packet matching the MAC address of a device is received by a target computer, that PC is turned on. REQUIREMENTS

Step 1: Enable Wake-On-Lan In The System BIOS.
1) The first step to take is to enable the Wake On Lan feature in the system BIOS so that the computer can listen for incoming wake up requests.
